Led by our fantastic and talented origami teacher, Akiko Kidokoro, children enjoyed discovering Japanese culture and traditions through the beautiful art of origami, learning new folding techniques and creating colourful paper shapes and objects.

Our thanks go to Akiko san for her wonderful presentation, and to the staff at Pearse Street Library for being such welcoming hosts and helping to make the day such a success. A special thank you also goes to Maria Mardiki, IJA Council, for helping bring this wonderful community event to life.
