IJA COUNCIL ELECTIONS 2026
.

Council nominations are now closed, and we are pleased to confirm that sufficient nominations have been received to meet the constitutional requirements for the roles of IJA Chairperson, IJA Vice Chairperson, and the Ordinary Council seats representing Corporate Members. As a result, these positions will be filled without the need for a vote.
.
For the Ordinary Council seats representing Individual Members, we have received eight nominations. Accordingly, the 2026 Council elections will take place via the online voting platform ElectionBuddy, running from Tuesday, 17th February to Tuesday, 24th February.
.
Each eligible IJA member has been sent an email on Tuesday, 17th February, containing a unique access key for voting. This key can only be used to vote once. Members may cast their vote for their preferred nominees for the Ordinary Council seats representing Individual Members until Tuesday, 24th February. Please note that all voting choices will remain anonymous.
