We are pleased to invite you to our Ikebana Summer Workshop with Ikebana instructor Tomoko Ozaki on 26th August in Dublin.

Learn about Ikebana traditions and principles, make your own Ikebana arrangement and change the way you think about floral displays.

With origins budding from the 16th century Ikebana is meant to express life’s perpetual change and renewal in a natural landscape. Using Rikka, Shoka, and Free styles as you consider the essence of the flowers, and present them in a simple and beautiful way. Use your inventiveness with the materials provided to convey or effect a mood, the possibilities are endless.

* Shallow container/dish/vase for the arrangement
* Scissors
* Paper/newspaper where to wrap flowers after the workshop
